Discover the practical skills and hands-on experience I bring to the table. From animal care to construction projects, I am ready for a physically active team environment, especially outdoors.

Practical skills for active environments

I have a proven track record in various physically demanding tasks, ideal for outdoor and team-based work. My experience includes feeding, training, and cleaning barns and animal shelters, as well as providing daily animal care. I am also adept at the daily collection of firewood, including felling and chopping, for home heating.

Maintenance and building expertise

My maintenance skills cover a wide range of property upkeep, including trimming, mowing, watering, weeding, digging, repairing fences, and general tidying. I have assisted my dad with various building projects, such as constructing animal housing, tool sheds, and our family home. This includes tasks like framing, insulating, drywalling, mudding, and taping. Each year, I am responsible for the design, planning, and construction of our family's outdoor rink.

Diverse capabilities and reliability

I possess a variety of skills, including snow removal, weed whacking and trimming, fence repair, building greenhouses, painting decks and fences, log removal, heavy lifting, and general physical labour. I have also demonstrated reliability and responsibility through tasks like assembling custom auction items, organizing them by lot numbers for photography, and moving and organizing various items and equipment to ensure smooth processing.

Beyond the job: my passions

My interests align perfectly with an active, outdoor lifestyle. I enjoy walking, camping, and farm chores. I am a dedicated team player, having played competitive hockey since 2016, most recently for the U15 AAA Knights of Columbus (KC) Hockey Association in the Alberta Elite Hockey League. In addition to hockey, I am a junior member of my local golf club since 2020, and I enjoy hunting, fishing, working out, and camping. These experiences have honed my teamwork, discipline, and commitment.
