Teamwork in action: auction item preparation
I have experience collecting and organizing various auction items by lot numbers, ensuring they were ready for photography. This role required meticulous attention to detail and efficient movement of equipment and items to guarantee the smooth processing of all auction inventory. It taught me the importance of systematic organization and collaborative effort in a fast-paced environment.
Animal care and outdoor living
My responsibilities have included feeding, training, and cleaning out barns and animal shelters, along with other daily animal care tasks. I also routinely collected firewood (felling and chopping) for home heating. These experiences highlight my dedication to physical tasks, responsibility for living creatures, and ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
Property maintenance and construction assistance
I have actively maintained property, including trimming, mowing, watering, weeding, digging, repairing fences, and general tidying. Additionally, I've assisted my dad with various building projects, such as constructing animal housing, tool sheds, and our family home. Tasks included framing, insulating, drywalling, mudding, and taping. Each year, I also contribute to the design, planning, and construction of our family's outdoor rink, showcasing my hands-on construction and organizational skills.
